On the First Friday of every month, we unwind from the stresses of the week by finding a deep state of relaxation. Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is a restorative practice that promotes physical relaxation, mental clarity, and emotional balance. It's the perfect way to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul: your hinengaro, tinana and wairua.
Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique that directly works to heal your mind by removing samskaras - untying knots and mental impressions. This practice of learning to relax consciously is well regarded as an antidote for stress, anxiety, poor sleep amongst other health benefits.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
+ A 90-minute guided Yoga Nidra Meditation led by one of our experienced instructors
+ A comfortable space to lie down (mats, blankets, bolsters & cushions provided)
+ A supportive community of fellow meditation enthusiasts
+ Complementary herbal tea before/after the session;
+ An opportunity to journal your experience, if desired
+ A chance to destress and cultivate inner calm

Wear comfortable clothes, and bring an open mind, a journal and eye mask if you have one (not required).
