Respect Us. Value Us. Pay Us – Together for Pay Equity
Hosted by New Zealand Council of Trade Unions Te Kauae Kaimahi.
Working Women’s Week is a nationwide week of action for pay equity, leading into International Women’s Day. Across Aotearoa, people are coming together to stand up for work that is too often undervalued - work done in caring, education, health, and support roles that keep our communities going.
Join us in Wellington to kick off the week of action. We’ll be centring rangatahi and getting people enrolled to vote - especially first-time voters or anyone keen to learn more about pay equity and why it matters.
When: Monday 2 March | 7:30–8:30am
Where: Rutherford House, Victoria University Pipitea campus foyer. Right next to the train station.
Breakfast provided - come along, bring a friend, and let’s get enrolled to vote for Pay Equity.
Pay equity is a cost-of-living issue with real impacts on whānau and communities. Throughout the week there are events and activations across the motu. Start the week with us!
