Ventilator Workshop

This hands-on workshop is designed to enhance knowledge and skills in advanced ventilator management. Participants will review ventilator modes, settings, and waveform interpretation, with a focus on managing complex respiratory patients in the prehospital environment. Through simulated scenarios, participants will apply critical thinking to adjust ventilator parameters, troubleshoot alarms, and coordinate care for patients with conditions such as ARDS, traumatic brain injury, and status asthmaticus. This training supports improved patient outcomes and readiness for high-acuity transports.

Target Audience: Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, Nurses, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners

PARTICIPANTS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE DIFFICULT AIRWAY COURSE ON MAY 22 AND 23 TO PREPARE FOR THIS COURSE.
