Three Days In February

A stunning audiovisual experience of Splore.
Three Days in February was the winner of Best Sound (New Zealand) at Doc Edge Awards 2025.

Filmed over seven years during a three-day music and art festival, Splore, the film is a cinematic celebration of human connections and our need for play. For decades this festival has created a safe space for playfulness on land that is blessed by the local iwi.

Directed by Serena Stevenson (Moko – The Art of Living) explores deep human emotion with cinematic frames and a multi-genre score, sinking into moments of humour, joy, family, celebration, love and adventure, where even the mundane is insightful.
Serena will be joining us for a Q&A after the screening.

Join us for a playful evening upstairs in our Grand Lobby before the screening.
DJ Takas, long term Splorer and Wellington legend will spinning some tunes as well as some special surprises from local party makers!
