Gather your friends, whānau, or neighbours who might find it tricky to access the gardens, and enjoy a relaxing, self-guided drive through a spectacular spring floral display at Wellington Botanic Garden ki Paekākā.
Simply drive along the one-way route past the Display Garden and soak in the colours of tulips, forget-me-nots, dianthus, primulas, chrysanthemums, daffodils, and more.
How it works:
• No registration needed — just turn up and enter through the Glenmore Street gates.
• Follow the designated one-way route through the gardens, keeping within your vehicle at all times.
• Exit through the West/White Gate to return to Glenmore Street.
• Feel free to enjoy the route as many times as you like during opening hours.
Please note:
• Drive slowly (maximum 10 km/h), and watch carefully for pedestrians, especially children.
• Stay in your vehicle for the entire tour to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
• Follow all signage and do not turn around within the garden grounds.
