Forests, beaches, unbearable ennui — it's no picnic being from one of the most rural places in Aotearoa. Sometimes the best day of your life is sitting in a horrible carpark outside the Warewhare cause there's nothing else to do.

There's a tragedy in being in a place that's so far away from everywhere else. On the longest day of summer, join my friends and yours as we dream, wonder, and hope that things aren't going to change too much come February.

An improvised dramedy about leaving home, finding your feet, and fighting your way out of the wop-wops.
