Protect Pay Equity Petition Handover

🚨Join us at Parliament to Protect Pay Equity🚨
In May, the National-led Government announced sweeping changes to pay equity, including the scrapping of all current claims affecting thousands of working women.
Since then, we’ve seen rallies spring up all across the motu, and tens of thousands of people sign the petition to Protect Pay Equity. We’ve seen the anger, outrage, and deep disappointment felt by workers, and we’ve seen the hope and solidarity that comes when working people band together against the Government’s attacks.
Now we’re ready to take our petition to Parliament. Join us next Wednesday 23rd July when we’ll be delivering almost 80,000 signatures to opposition MPs. Tell your friends, tell your whānau, and spread the word—let’s fight back together for working women.
