NZICF Comedy Fest Redux? with Joel Wood (and Neil)

Thinking about applying for the 2026 NZ International Comedy Festival? Now's the time to get to thinking! Billy T applications open Monday, EOIs are already flying, and festival application deadlines will be here before you know it.

Joel Wood, Production Manager for the NZICF, will be in Wellington this Wednesday for an open talk and Q&A covering:

Application timelines and deadlines
Costs, benefits, and what to expect
Best practices for a successful festival run

Neil Thornton from NZ Comedy School will also be there to share insights from his festival experience and ask Joel all the questions you're thinking (plus some shamefully self-serving ones).

BONUS: There's also a Festival Comedy Lab at Cavern Club that night (6-7pm). Come to both events and make it a whole thing!
