A gentle ramble around parts of the botanic gardens with botanical artist Sandra Morris, using careful observation and journalling techniques to record how our personal connection
with our environment changes our perception and wellbeing.
You will learn:
• Different ways to observe and the practice of mindfulness and wellbeing
• Different ways to record visually, eg. diagrams, sketches, careful drawings, maps, graphs
• Different ways to record in words, numbers
• Approaches to page layout
• Suitable for all skill levels- with a desire to learn to observe and connect with the natural world around you.
Materials participants need to bring:
- sketch book A5 or A4 or photocopy paper with backing board with clip for attaching paper to board
- drawing pencils and/or drawing pens
- colour pencils or whatever you prefer to work with
