Australian indie pop princess Mallrat will return to New Zealand this September on the Light Hit My Face Like a Straight Right World Tour, following a run of sold out shows across Europe and USA.

Sophomore album Light Hit My Face Like A Straight brings dance music that has heart and potent magic which will be manifested into life on stage, alongside all your favourite Mallrat hits and accompanied by her incredible live band.

The adored songwriter and producer’s work catapulted Mallrat across the globe with critical acclaim from NPR, Stereogum, NME, NYLON, PAPER Magazine, The New York Times, Billboard, Noisey and more, further affirming Mallrat as a beacon primed for the world stage in 2025.

Joining Mallrat on her New Zealand headline shows is none other than Aotearoa’s own indie pop darling, Riiki Reid — bringing her signature style and infectious energy to the stage for an unforgettable night of music.
