Pavilion Open Day – Celebrate Winter with Us!

Join us this July school holidays for a special Open Day celebrating the wonders of winter in the garden. This free, family-friendly event invites tamariki to explore the magic of nature through self-guided, hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and connection.

Activities include:
• Digital Discovery Station – Zoom in on bark, moss, and seedpods with iPads and microscopes.
• Evergreen vs Deciduous Detective Challenge – Who’s awake and who’s asleep this season?
• Winter Tree Art Station – Use real twigs and white paint to create snowy tree scenes.
• Garden Detectives Scavenger Hunt – Discover what’s still growing in winter with magnifiers and clues.

Perfect for children aged 4–12 and their whānau. Come dressed for the weather and ready to explore!
