Art Education as an Integral Part of STEAM Education

Join us in Te Whanganui-a-Tara for this 3 part series on Art Education as an Integral Part of STEAM Education, presented by Dr Lisa Terreni.

This face-to-face 3-part PLD series examines the role arts education can play in the curriculum areas of science, maths and technology (known as STEAM education), and enrich teachers’ own art knowledge and practice.

This PLD is aimed at ECE kaiako and tauira/students, new entrants kaiako. The goal of this PLD is to engage in hands-on curriculum specific practice (art, maths, science and technology) applicable to early years learners. To enrich and nourish personal art practice and knowledge. To experience inquiry based approaches to STEAM education through seeing relevant ECE examples.
