Crip the Lit writers will share an eclectic line-up of snappy new poems and prose celebrating the rich world of disability ancestors. Expect a few slyly subversive takes paired with deep, and often hilarious, insights.
Crip the Lit advocate for d/Deaf and disabled writers having their unique voices, perspectives and stories included and valued in mainstream writing. They are the talent behind some of our most popular LitCrawl events (most recently, 'I'm disabled ... of course I'm a villain!').

This event is free to attend and includes tea & coffee. You can turn up on the day, or register to secure your spot. This event is NZSL interpreted.
Venue access: The venue is accessed via elevators at 57 Willis St. There is an entrance way beside Unity Books, and also via 70 Victoria St. You're welcome to arrive any time from 5:30pm onwards, for a 6pm start.
Latecomers: From 6pm onwards, venue access is only through the entrance at 70 Victoria St. Someone from Verb will be there to let you in.
