Run the Distance, Embrace the Distance 5K Run/Walk/Roll for Disabilities

Help Kick-Off the Weirton Disability Independence Day Week-Long Celebration by joining us for a day of fun! All Ages, All Abilities are Welcome!

Come out to support the Disability Community living in and around Brooke and Hancock counties, West Virginia! Participants can Run the Northern Panhandle Trail, Walk it, or Roll it using a wheelchair. Registration is now open so secure your spot!

We will have resource vendors, games, and much more available the day of the Walk/Run! So even if you are not interested in participating in the race, come out to cheer on everyone who signs up, gather some information, and win some prizes.

All proceeds are used to help fund activities and programing to participants who attend activities aimed toward the Disability Community and their families. These activities are able to be offered for free thanks to the generous support of our fundraisers (like this one!) and public donations.
