We are pleased to present The Ninth Annual BVAA Sunflower Show in August, a wonderful way to enjoy golden beauty of sunflowers in art! Pieces in this group show by members of The Blackstone Valley Art Association will include paintings, photography and mixed media.
The show may be viewed August 1st-30th during normal business hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10-5, Wednesday 10-6.
The public is invited to a reception to meet and greet some of the participating artists on Wednesday, August 13th from 5:30-7 p.m.
About the Show
If there ever was a flower which symbolized glorious summertime, the sunflower is the one. Did you know that nearly all of the 70 species of sunflowers are native to North America? They can grow to be up to six feet tall and they even tilt as the sun moves so they always face it!
