As the first harvest of Lughnasadh arrives, we gather to honor the turning of the Wheel of the Year with movement, ritual, and remembrance. In the spirit of this sacred Celtic festival, we give thanks for the fruits of our labor—both personal and collective—and offer our bodies as instruments of prayer, praise, and presence.

Join Jessica Durivage and the When Women Come to Pray community for a Lughnasadh-inspired Qoya class and ceremonial Labyrinth walk where we root into the land beneath us and remember those who came before. Through intuitive movement, we honor the ancestors who harvested these lands and the wisdom they carried in their bones. We dance to remember that movement is medicine, and that in a world of uncertainty, coming home to our bodies is an act of devotion and resistance.
The class will include ritual elements that invite connection to the land, an offering of gratitude, and time to walk the Labyrinth as a sacred mirror of your inner journey. Together, we will move what must be moved, release what is ready to fall away, and celebrate the beauty of simply being alive in this moment.
No movement experience is necessary—just a willingness to feel, to listen, and to move from the inside out.
Tickets are priced on a sliding scale. Please pay according to your financial ability and relative privilege. Scholarships and payment plans available. Please contact us for individual inquiries. No one turned away for lack of funds.
