Roaring Fork Ramble

Set out on the “Roaring Fork Ramble” with guides Annie and Jamie for a 4.9-mile journey through some of the most iconic terrain in our region. Starting from Max Patch and following Buckeye Ridge along the Appalachian Trail to Roaring Fork Shelter, this hike blends sweeping mountain views with tranquil forest paths. With 721 feet of elevation gain, it’s a great fit for beginner to intermediate hikers looking to stretch their legs without overdoing it. Don’t forget your water, snacks, and camera—this one’s as photogenic as it is peaceful. Rating: C3
