Hello everyone,
I hope you had a great summer and took some time to stop into the Wayne Library for a session of Rolls and Realms! If you couldn't, that's okay. We all know that when the weather is good, it's better to be outside. It will be cold and dark soon enough here in north NJ. We have an extensive group of people who have spent time with us in the spring playing TTRPGs. We appreciate your time. With that in mind, we are launching new sessions for the fall, starting on October 6th!
We are going to do something a little different. Hans will continue his faithful band of troublemakers, so don't worry, we are not disbanding anything. Todd also has his group of merry adventurers, who will remain the same if they wish. I wish to thank both of them for their time and dedication; they are making this club great.
With that being said, we are starting with a Westland Marches-style TTRPG, which means the players set the tone, goal, and the game to be played. Once that is established, you can come and go as you please; you are not obligated to be there every week. We'll be able to conduct sessions that can be completed within two days in the setting of your choice. This will be set up on Oct. 6th. This can be D&D, Star Trek, Marvel Multiverse, Call of Cthulu, or even something else; the choice will be yours on the first day. Once that is set up, we can play. The adventure can and will be different just about every week, and you can enter and leave at any time. This is the fun of the Westland Marches style campaign. You help pick the adventure from a group of them and go; it will be an exciting way for Rolls and realms to work.
I hope to see you all on October 6th; the more the merrier. I would love to reconnect with some of you. I had a great time playing alongside you and wish to reconnect.
