Hike Safe: Gear Up for The Trail

Wild Wellness NEPA is proud to partner with Countryside Conservancy for the second event in their Hike Safe Series—a program focused on building knowledge, confidence, and safety on the trail.

The topic for this month is "Gear up for the trail" – what to bring, how to use it, and why it’s essential for safe and enjoyable hiking. Melissa Roberts, founder of Wild Wellness NEPA and owner of the Ski Shack, will lead the conversation, offering practical tips and hands-on insights into essential hiking gear.

This hike is beginner-friendly and a great opportunity to learn, connect with community, and explore the beautiful trails at Meadowsweet Preserve.

Participants who complete all six hikes in the Hike Safe series will receive a free first aid kit at the end of the program!
