Architecture Amble: Athletic Park Neighborhood

It’s time for another Architecture Amble. We will explore one neighborhood in Wausau’s Fifth District. This neighborhood has the three important Bs- baseball, beef, and beer. The homes show a nice variety of architecture and age.

For many years this district was represented by Gary Gisselman in the city and county government.

We explored the industry in the area, now guide Carl will take us through the residential part of this area.

Meet at the front gate of Athletic Field on East Wausau Avenue.

Be sure to wear good walking shoes as sidewalks may be uneven and dress for the weather.

Street parking is available near by.

As always the tour is free and open to all!
