Hike Through History at Lakeside Cemetery

Step back in time during the Hike Through History Cemetery Walk at Waupaca’s historic Lakeside Cemetery on Saturday, October 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. This self-guided tour will highlight 15 to 20 notable individuals from Waupaca’s past, spanning from the late 1800s to the late 20th century. Informational signs placed throughout the cemetery will share the stories of these remarkable residents and their impact on the community.

Visitors are welcome to park along High Street and explore the cemetery by foot along the paved roads. A guide booklet and refreshments will be available at the cemetery entrance.

The event is presented by the Waupaca Historical Society and the Waupaca Area Genealogical Society.
