Dandelion Gallery & Studios is honored to present Impressions, a featured exhibition of works by Jesús Ortega, presented in collaboration with the Dandelion Artist Alliance.
This exhibition reflects the essence of artistic impressions—those immediate yet lasting marks created by both the world around us and the individuals who interpret it. Ortega’s collection spans expressive oil landscapes that capture the fleeting qualities of light and atmosphere, to linoleum prints that explore depth, texture, and the power of simplified forms.
As Ortega explains:
“Quick works of art capturing the impression left on us by the scenery or the one creating the work.”
In addition, the exhibition will include a communal installation of linoprints by Ortega’s students, symbolizing the shared impact of creativity and the enduring impressions we leave upon one another.
The Opening Showcase Event is a free community celebration featuring:
Artist Meet & Greet with Jesús Ortega and Dandelion Artist Alliance members
Interactive Craft Activity designed for all ages
An engaging evening of art, dialogue, and community connection
Impressions invites audiences to reflect on how experiences, environments, and relationships imprint themselves upon us, and how creativity serves as both a personal expression and a collective legacy.
