Black History Celebration

The Waukegan Park District will celebrate Black History Month with a variety of programs and events. This includes the Black History Celebration on Saturday, February 7, 2026 starting at 5pm at the Jack Benny Center, located at 39 Jack Benny Drive. This is a free event and preregistration is not required to attend.

Come journey along with us as we explore African American Heroes that continue to impact our world today! Musical performances and spoken word, dramatic readings, dance and more will fill the Jack Benny Center for Cultural Arts.
