CAN YOU IMAGINE investing in your dream home—only to be left with nothing but a CRACKED foundation, legal bills, a mortgage with no home to live in, and a builder who’s vanished?
One of our own at KPC Studio 360, Dr. Madison Johnson, is living that nightmare. She and her husband, Levi Johnson (a first responder with the Waukee Fire Department), were building their dream home when their builder, Davis Custom Homes, abruptly abandoned the project—along with 34 other Iowa families.
These families are now stuck with unfinished homes, massive financial burdens, and no communication from the builder. What should have been a season of building and new beginnings has become one of loss, stress, and uncertainty.
The Johnsons are not only navigating this personally—they’re also taking action to push for legislation that will protect future Iowa homeowners from ever going through something like this.
We’ve shared their story with the news to raise awareness and now we’re turning to our community to rally around them with 360° of KPC Support.
