Philippians 4:2–9 – “Live The Example”
Paul wraps up with practical, life-changing instructions for living out the joy and peace of the gospel:
- Reconcile (Euodia & Syntyche: be of the same mind in the Lord)
- Rejoice in the Lord always—again, rejoice!
- Let your gentleness be evident to everyone (the Lord is near)
- Be anxious for nothing → pray about everything with thanksgiving
- Guard your heart & mind with God’s surpassing peace
- Meditate on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable
- Put into practice what you learned from Paul’s example → the God of peace will be with you
This is the blueprint for experiencing the peace of God and the presence of the God of peace—no matter the circumstances.
