Our first comedy night at the Bluebell Inn and we have a superb show in store for you.
Our headline act is Tom Little. Tom is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor. He won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (an award also won by acts such as Johnny Vegas, Jason Manford, Rhod Gilbert and Romesh Ranganathan) and was a BBC New Comedy Award finalist. He wrote and starred in his own sitcom ‘Don’t Overthink It,’ which won ‘Best Comedy’ at the NYC Web Fest Awards. More recently he starred in the film ‘The Days Ahead,’ available now on Amazon Prime. He plays the well-read fool, taking on hugely diverse facts, but refusing to deal with them conventionally, with a unique turn of phrase.
‘Inventive, unexpected and often very silly…. He surely can’t remain a hidden treasure for long.’ **** – Chortle.
‘Catch him on his way to stardom.’ – The i Paper.
‘The real deal. An instinctive comedian with oodles of charm and a quirky, frenetic intensity…. If he cuts his energy levels by 10% he could end up in movies.’ – The Spectator.
‘A huge talent.’ – The Scotsman.
Opening the show is Jonny Brook "The Sat Down Stand Up". Jonny won the Breakthrough Act of the Year at the Yorkshire Comedy Awards in 2022 and is a Gag N Bone Man Comedy favourite.
In the middle we have rapidly rising star Nicole Scott, whose tales of life as a perimenopausal millennial with hearing loss and kids she can't understand are relatable and hilarious.
Hosting the show is Graeme Rayner, finalist in the 2025 Halifax Comedian of the Year Competition.
