Warhammer 40K: Operation Recon — 500 Point Tournament
Operation Recon welcomes new and returning players to fast, balanced games designed around 500 point armies.
Army Lists & Submission
Lists are due by 9:00 PM on Tuesday, August 12th. Submit your list via Best Coast Pairings using the text option:

Army Building Rules
500 point armies.
Minimum of two infantry units required.
No epic heroes allowed.
No units with toughness greater than 9.
Strategic reserves limited to 125 points.
Models must be WYSIWYG. Proxies and conversions are allowed if they reasonably match the silhouette and appearance of the represented unit.
Missions & Format
Missions use primary objectives and mission rules from the Combat Patrol PDF (
https://assets.warhammer-community.com/warhammer40000_combatpatrol_rules_eng.24.09-rbtns7zwbh.pdf), plus secondaries from Chapter Approved 2025–26 Mission Deck.
Schedule & Check-in
Check-in: 10:00 AM
10:30 AM – 12:45 PM — Round 1: Archeotech Recovery
12:45 PM – 1:45 PM — Lunch Break
1:45 PM – 4:00 PM — Round 2: Forward Outpost
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM — Break
4:30 PM – 6:45 PM — Round 3: Clash of Patrols
7:00 PM — Awards Ceremony
Scoring
Best Coast Pairings will calculate standings based on:
• Wins (primary)
• Points scored (first tiebreaker)
• Strength of schedule (second tiebreaker)
