"Star Wars" Summer Encampment 2025

All age level Girls Scout Troops are invited to attend our Summer Encampment and Journey Weekend 22-24 August 2025.

All Scouts will enjoy a weekend of camping and participating in facilitated activities to earn the Think Like an Engineer Journey. Girls will also have fun with our Star Wars theme cupcake war, our “Jedi Council” Campfire, and Star Wars costume contest. Arrival on Friday night is optional, and is a great opportunity to do troop activities on your own. All camp programming will begin at 10:00am on Saturday.

We will provide lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. Add on meal tickets are available for dinner Friday night and breakfast on Saturday.

All Troops and Juliette’s will need the appropriate safety ratio of Registered Volunteers to the number and level of girls attending from their Troop. This is a Troop Camping weekend, but families are welcome to register. Daisy and Brownies must attend with a parent or guardian.

Requests for yurt, cabin, and indoor sleeping areas are available for all interested Troops with Daisy and Brownies having priority.

All participants and staff will receive a Summer Encampment T-Shirt and patch. All earned badges and patches will be available from the Camp Store, GSRV council store, or online through GSUSA.

High School age Girl Scouts, High School Honor Society, and any Scouts BSA or Adventurers are welcome to register as Staff Cooks or Staff Lifeguards to receive community service hours or to earn hours for the Girl Scout Service Pin.

A full schedule and meal list will be sent out to registered participants closer to the event. Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled.
