Join Missy of Queen MAB Whimsy at Make It, Waterville in making your own ghostly trio just in time for Halloween!
In this class, you will learn how to create a trio of ceramic ghosts using a cone shape or pinch method. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience with ceramics, tap into your spooky side while enjoying a fun and rewarding opportunity to express yourself through art!
What you'll learn:
Pinch Pot Basics: Understand the principles of pinch potting and how to create a smooth, consistent wall thickness.
Slab-building Basics: Understand the principles of slab-building and how to transform a flat, rolled out piece of clay into a 3-dimensional figure with loads of character.
Shape and Form: Explore different shapes and learn how to manipulate the clay to achieve your desired form.
Glazing: Pieces will be ready to glaze approximately two weeks after the class in the PYOP studio at no extra cost.
Price: $50/set (includes instruction, class materials, glaze, and firing)
Ages: 7+ (all children must be accompanied by an adult)
