August First Friday: Dreamy Indie Folk Evening

Join us for a summer evening of dreamy indie folk tunes featuring three iconic musicians!
Lisa/Liza’s catalog spans ten years, with four albums on Orindal Records, a single released through Mexican Summer’s Looking Glass, and a spate of self-released home recordings. Her songwriting invites traditional folk guitar-playing and lyricism into dream-like domains, directing memory’s imperfections toward restoration and healing.
The Spookfish is the long-running experimental folk project of Dan Goldberg, currently based in Newburgh, New York. His music bounces from deft fingerpicking guitar instrumentals, woozy synthesizer and drum machine beats recorded to tape, and lyrical music inspired by dreams and the earth. His most recent full length album, Bear in the Snow, is accompanied by a 10 level video game that he developed himself. Outside of this project, Dan also works as a music therapist and hosts concerts on mountains.
yours are the only ears is the indie folk project of New York based songwriter and visual artist Susannah Cutler. Her evocative songs create quiet intensity and safe space for anything to be felt. Her second full length album “We Know The Sky” is out now.
