About the event

Worker Safety & Health Training: Climate Resilience

This training is being offered at no cost by Augusta Williams, ScD, MPH from SUNY Upstate Medical University.
In this presentation, attendees will learn about health and safety risks associated with summer weather, like heat, sun exposure, and tick-borne diseases. We will also explore workplace hazards associated with extreme weather events, like flooding. Attendees will leave with tips of how to keep themselves and other safe when working outside.
