Lino Print Your Own Folkloric Bookmark - Butser BookFest

Join illustrator Hester Aspland and printmaker Amy Hunter in an incredible Saxon meadhall for a magical, hands-on creative workshop as part of Butser Book Festival!

Choose from Saturday 18th October (10:30am - 12:30pm) or Sunday 19th October (12:00pm - 2:00pm)

🖋️ Learn how to carve into lino – discover the tools and techniques to bring your design to life.
🖨️ Print your own design onto paper - transform your carved block into a bold, beautiful print.
📚 Customise your very own bookmark - perfect for any book lover!
🐉 Take inspiration from folklore & fairytales - with creatures and classic imagery guided by Hester’s years of illustrating traditional stories.
🛖 Experience it all inside a Saxon meadhall - a truly unique historic setting to spark your creativity.

🎨 Suitable for children 8+ and adults (simpler stamping options available for younger children).
🕰️ Duration: 2 hours
💷 £15 per ticket / £5 per child ticket (under 14s must be accompanied by a paying adult).
