This premier Open History Sunday event celebrates the life, legacy, and lasting influence of “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig — one of professional wrestling’s most gifted and beloved performers.

We’ll explore how Curt’s impact continues to be felt through his friends, family, fellow wrestlers, and fans from every generation.

Join moderator Cody Saveraid as he leads a special panel discussion and Q&A with:
⭐ Leonice Hennig – Wife of Curt Hennig
⭐ Hank Hennig – Youngest son of Curt
⭐ Joyce Paustian – Longtime AWA photographer, historian, and author
⭐ Mr. Destiny (Jay Hanna) – Trained with Curt and Brad Rheingans in 1997
⭐ TS Aggressor (Travis Shillington) – Nearly three decades as a respected pro wrestler and trainer

1:00 PM – Doors Open
• AWA Tag Team Title Belt photo op and examination
• George Tragos’ handwritten record books (1935–1941) on display
• Never-before-seen Curt Hennig artifacts from the Museum archives

2:00 PM – “Celebrating the Legacy of Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig” Panel
Featuring Leonice Hennig, Hank Hennig, Joyce Paustian, Mr. Destiny, and TS Aggressor

3:30 PM – Facebook Live Auction Fundraiser (Benefits TNTHOF)

• Restoring Joe Stecher’s 100-year-old wall pulley exercise machine
• Archival preservation projects – bagging and boarding vintage wrestling magazines
