It’s almost time for "Lightning Bugs!" Each year between mid-May and early June, Wall Doxey State Park transforms into a glowing fairyland filled with rare Snappy Syncs and Cypress Fireflies (Photuris walldoxeyi), putting on a mesmerizing light show you’ll never forget.

Join us for a guided night hike to witness the synchronized display of Snappy Syncs Fireflies, as they flash in harmony through the forest. It’s a magical, once-a-year experience perfect for families, nature lovers, and outdoor adventurers.

🌟 30-minute guided tours
🌟 Limit of 20 participants per tour
🌟 No pets, flashlights, glow items, or bug spray on the trail
🌟 Trail may be muddy – dress appropriately
