Join us for the world premiere adaptation of Botiquín de Boleros Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights Bolero Bar), an immersive cabaret-style musical that takes audiences on a nostalgic journey through love, breakup, and self-love.
Columbia Heights Bolero Bar regales us with stories and memories of broken hearts and lost loves through the music, dance and songs of boleros that are timeless.
Come to the Columbia Heights Bolero Bar and join this musical adventure where patrons and performers share their heartache and longing for long ago lovers as they sing and dance to classic boleros such as "Bésame mucho" and "Mi viejo San Juan." You will be swept away by this beloved genre that became a sensation from Cuba to Mexico to South America and around the world.
This musical is original by Venezuelan playwright Rubén Leon, Adapted by Gustavo Ott, and directed and choreographed by Valeria Cossu who who choreographed the 2025 Helen Hayes Award nominated Mummy in the Closet.
CAST: Facundo Agustín, Jaime Ibacache, Anna Malavé, Luis Obed, Rachael Small, and Fran Tapia.
PERFORMANCES: June 11 - 29, 2025, Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. The show is presented in Spanish with English surtitles and is recommended for ages 13+.
Press Night/Karaoke Night is Friday, June 13, 2025, at 8 pm. Join us for a post-performance karaoke experience, cocktails, and delicious appetizers!
