About the event

WCO Season Opening- Ingolfsson plays Beethoven
The Washington Chamber Orchestra opens its new season with a dynamic program of classical masterworks. The evening begins with Beethoven’s bold and dramatic Coriolan Overture, followed by Prokofiev’s effervescent Classical Symphony, a brilliant homage to the style of Haydn and Mozart.

Internationally acclaimed violinist Judith Ingolfsson, Gold Medalist of the Indianapolis International Violin Competition, returns to perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D Major, a cornerstone of the violin repertoire, known for its lyrical beauty and profound depth.

This concert is free as part of the Catherine and Mary Roth Concert Series at Annunciation Church. Reserve your free tickets!
