Rock Creek Clean Up
It's estimated that more than 14 millions tons of plastics end up in the ocean every year! Come and join us to help clean up our adopted section of Rock Creek Park to keep more plastics from making its way to our beloved ocean! It's a great way to get outside and work off some of that Thanksgiving food!
WHEN: Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
WHERE: Meet up in the parking lot across from Peirce Mill on Tilden Street right before it crosses Beach Drive and turns into Park Road. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the Cleveland Park Metro station.
WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes (you may get wet). Bring yard gloves if you have them. And don’t forget water — in a reusable container, of course.
