Oktoberfest at The Wharf

It’s that time of year—put on your dirndl or lederhosen, grab your Dachshund and join Passport BMW, MINI of Alexandria, District Vet and more for our free Oktoberfest at The Wharf festivities on Saturday, October 4, 2024.

🐕 2pm - 5pm: 13th Annual Wiener 500 Dachshund Dash hosted by Tommy McFly. Watch the speediest Dachshunds in DC race for fame and fortune on the District Pier race track to benefit Rural Dog Rescue.

🍻 Catch all the action on our jumbotron screen while partying with DJ Oktoberfest and enjoying ice cold Sam Adams Octoberfest beer.

🎉 5pm - 7pm: Polka on the Pier! Join us on Transit Pier and learn the traditional German dance from the professionals and then show off your moves with a DJ! Be sure to wear your dirndl or lederhosen and Oktoberfest gear—we'll be awarding the best dressed polka dancer.
