Medieval Dinner

On Thursday the 13th Tim is preparing a dinner party which will recreate a Medieval feast. Guests are encouraged to RSVP to Tim at 203 822 8821 via Whatsapp, and to bring a drink, or a small dessert or side. Medieval-themed drinks are fun.

Show up at 7, food will be served starting at 8. You can see the recipe here. If you have any questions, ask Tim.

The recipe for the tenth will be rissoles, a common fast food in England in the 1300s. It is a bit like an empanada. You can see the recipe here: https://www.tastinghistory.com/recipes/rissoles

There will also be sweet filling with apples and figs. You can also bring your own filling if you would like. Apparently medeivals did that often because they did not trust their chefs to use safe meat.

The address is 1002 N Street NW, follow the sign for "Free Utility". It's 2 blocks from Mt. Vernon Square metro and 6 blocks from Metro Center. There is street parking, the 24/7 gas station at 1317 9th Street will cheaply sell you a spot.
