Make a pair of stretch leggings

If you have some basic machine sewing skills or would like to gain more confidence using stretch fabric on either your sewing machine or your overlocker, come and learn how to make a pair of adult leggings. We will cover basic pattern markings, layout of fabric including stretch, lengthening or shortening of a pattern and cutting out your fabric. You will then sew together to make a pair of comfy leggings/cycling shorts. Option to purchase your own pattern for an additional £5 to take home and make more!

You will need a stretch fabric for this class, depending on your size either 1-1.5m in length, 4-way stretch so cotton lycra, scuba, spandex, lycra etc.

Sewing machine requirements: your machine will need to be able to do a small zig zag stitch and you will also need a jersey/stretch needle. Alternatively, these can be made on an overlocker.

Cost is £30. Payable in advance to reserve booking. 50% non-refundable deposit with the balance due 14 days prior to the workshop otherwise 100% non-refundable (unless I can fill your space).

4 spaces per class. Please send a message to enquire - I will require the size needed at least 2-weeks in advance to prepare patterns.
