Kontra is a DMV based HipHop and R&B group bringing the classics back to the mainstream. Composed of the multitalented Renaissance man, Mr. IMU (singer, rapper, producer & musician), the Ingenious Wordsmith, Cam Strife (rapper & producer), and the Maniacal Inspiration, Organized Khaos (singer, rapper & musician). These three artists favor an old school style with a modern flare, inspired by The Fugees, Wu-Tang Clan, and Digable Planets. The Kontraverse welcomes you in. Will you be joining us?

Cam Strife

Cam Strife, the artist out of Glen Burnie, Maryland, has the authenticity and transparency that Hip-Hop is looking for. With intricate flows and a sense of relatability that leaves you feeling nostalgic, he’s only just begun to paint our timeline with his music. Treating the art like an outlet, he’s the man that does, and says a little bit of everything. Anytime he graces the stage, you can expect to leave feeling like you’ve been heard.

Organized Khaos

O.K. also known as Organized Khaos is multifaceted alternative soul artist who is native to PG County, MD. She starting writing lyrics at just 8 years old and it soon became a true passion of hers. Her name is Organized Khaos and her art style is just that. She is a Singer-songwriter, visual artist, actress, author, & poet who can never be defined by societal expectations. As a young black woman with ADHD and Autism, she wants to let her listeners know that they will always be O.K. in her eyes. #iamok

Mr. IMU

Out of the 3rd corner of the tri-state, is a multi talented artist/producer/engineer. Influenced by the Greats before who came him, he is no doubt a show stopping force to be reckoned with. With his hand in many works with Artists; such as Tyler On Demand, and Kontra, etc… his sound is undoubtedly and undeniably bringing back that classic music that we all know and love.

T$K, or the Too Sweet Kliq, is a music collective designed to get people moving and actually get up and dance at a show. Through positivity and community, they make sure everyone and everything is just “too sweet”.
