Foggy Bottom Biennial Opening Day

Join us for the 2025 Arts in Foggy Bottom Outdoor Sculpture Biennial with an afternoon of art, conversation, and community at the launch of Homeland | Hostland, a free public art exhibition running from May 3 through October 25, 2025.

The sculpture show features 14 original works by esteemed regional and national artists, each exploring the concept of home and belonging.

We'll kick things off at 2:00 PM at the iconic yellow house (842 New Hampshire Ave NW) with opening remarks. Then enjoy a curator-guided tour of this outdoor exhibition.The celebration continues at The Watergate Gallery (2552 Virginia Ave NW) with a reception at 4:00 PM, featuring an indoor exhibition that offers deeper insight into the Biennial artists' practices.

Timeline:
