Exploring the Yoruba Tradition: Afro-Cuban Song and Dance at the Mt Pleasant Library
We're thrilled to partner with @mtpleasantlibraryfriends for a vibrant cultural experience!

Join us on Wednesday, July 9 for a free all-ages performance featuring Afro-Cuban song, dance, and drumming rooted in the Yoruba (Lucumi) tradition.

Experience:
* Live batá drumming
* Songs & dances honoring Ochun, the “orisha” of love and fertility
* Participation in a traditional call-and-response chorus
* Q&A with cultural practitioners

All are welcome! Come celebrate the richness of Afro-Cuban heritage with us.
