Embassy Digital Trade Roundtable: State of New Trade Agreements with the US

ACT | The App Association’s Embassy Digital Trade Roundtables are a series of informal events exclusive to technology and/or trade policy staff of embassies in the Washington, DC, area to facilitate dialogue on leading technology policy and trade issues and create new partnerships across governments and the private sector (particularly the small business community that the App Association represents).

The Trump administration has set a self-imposed deadline of five weeks from early June 2025 to finalize new trade agreements with multiple countries by July 8 or July 9, 2025, depending on the specific trading partner (this deadline is in alignment with the expiration of President Trump's 90-day suspension of increased tariffs). The July 14th edition of the Embassy Digital Trade Roundtable Series will focus on the state of play of new trade agreements with the U.S. and impacts on the digital economy.

In order to facilitate frank and open discussion, roundtables are off-the-record and not open to the public.
