Carnivorous Plant & Bog Garden Workshop
Learn about carnivorous plants, how to care for them, and how to grow a bog garden | Co-hosted by Cultivate the City

About this Event

Dive into the intriguing world of carnivorous plants! Explore their unique adaptations and ecological significance. During this educational workshop, you'll learn the art of caring for carnivorous plants, propagation methods like seed collection and separation, and how to create a thriving bog garden at home. Depending on which ticket you purchase, you will either build a bog of your own during the class, or will take a carnivorous plant to plant at home after the class.

Friends of the National Arboretum (FONA) is thrilled to host this carnivorous plant workshop with Cultivate the City. The workshop will take place at the Washington Youth Garden, located on the grounds of the U.S. National Arboretum.
