Join us for our monthly Brazilian Day of Dance at La Cosecha! Whether you're new to community or a seasoned dancer, this is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the rhythm, community, and fun of Brazilian culture.
Every month, we bring the best of Brazilian dance culture to DC with an exciting lineup of classes and social dancing, featuring Samba no pé, Forró, Samba de Gafieira, Lambada, and Brazilian Zouk. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, this event is the perfect place to immerse yourself in Brazilian music and dance while connecting with the community.

We will be starting the day with an energetic Afro-Brazilian dance class led by Flavia, followed by an exciting Tricks, Dips, and Rides Lab with guest artist Ellis Perrmann. You might recognize Ellis from her viral partner dance videos, she’s known for her creative and playful approach to social dance stunts, bringing you fun, safe, and social-floor-ready moves to level up your Brazilian Zouk!

🕦 11:30am–1:00pm: Afro-Brazilian Dance with Flavia
Tricks, Dips, and Rides Lab with Ellis Perrmann| 4 to 6pm
Lambada Study Hall | 6-7 PM
An informal, student-driven study session where you can collaborate, share knowledge, and help each other succeed! No teachers, just a relaxed space to ask questions, study together, and connect.
Brazilian Zouk Social | 7 - 10 PM
End the day with a vibrant Brazilian Zouk social! Put your skills to the test and enjoy dancing in a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

🚗 Parking: FREE parking at and around Union Market. La Cosecha Parking Garages are free for the first 3 hours, $15 after.
