We are pleased to invite you to the Biodiversity Digitization Conference (BioDigiCon 2025): Uniting People, Technology, and Data to Celebrate the Transformative Power of Digital Biological Collections, to be held at the National Press Club (NPC), Washington, DC, 23-25 September 2025.
Historically, iDigBio has hosted two conferences yearly. BioDigiCon (formerly the ADBC Summit), which focused on workforce development and advances in digitization, and the Digital Data in Biodiversity Research Conference, which aimed to improve the use, integration, and usability of biodiversity data. BioDigiCon 2025 will combine the objectives of the two events to highlight the importance of all phases of the biodiversity specimen digitization value chain from data generation to quality control, mobilization, aggregation, dissemination, integration, and use in biodiversity research, education, and outreach
The conference will be funded by a combination of support from NSF, registration and sponsor fees, and funding from iDigBio.
