Art of Becoming: A Creative Wellness Experience

Join us for an afternoon centered on healing, softness, and creative release. Art of Becoming is a celebration of the layered process of healing — the messy, the soft, the uncertain, the bold. It honors the journey of becoming a fuller, freer, more loving version of yourself. A version that doesn’t rush her growth but paints it slowly, with intention, softness, and grace.

Through painting and intentional conversations, we’ll explore the beauty of becoming the version of ourselves that is softer, wiser, and more rooted in self-love.

✨ Featuring special guest Renee Anorue (Core Psychotherapy LCSW, PLLC), a mental health therapist who will share her insights on mental health for Black women and offer wellness products like healing teas, tinctures, and essential oils.

What to Expect:

• Grounding journal prompts and community conversations
• Healing dialogue with Black is Gold, SWAG Works DC & Renee Anorue
• Brush and Breathe: Serenity through Color guided painting for relaxation and self-expression
• Refreshments, wine, mocktails & wellness drinks
• A safe space to be, reflect and connect with sisterhood and community
