Ukrainian Masterworks and the Franck Quintet

Appearing for the first time on our series, violinist Solomiya Ivakhiv presents works by Ukraininan composer Fedir Yakymenko and Cesar Franck. She is joined by Melvin Chen, piano; Emilie-Anne Gendron, violin; William Frampton, viola; and Laura Metcalf-Boyd, cello. Event is in person and virtual, with concert recording issued a few days after concert.
Ukrainian-born Ivakhiv is a highly celebrate soloist, chamber musician, and educator. Music at Bunker Hill is proud to present Dr. Ivakhiv and her friends and hear the music from her country.
