Hello Hurricanes!
It may feel like summer just began, but we’re already excited to welcome you to Warwick Veterans Memorial Middle School! We invite all incoming 6th grade students and new students to join us for our Orientation on Thursday, August 21st. Here’s what you can expect:
Orientation Schedule
5:00 PM – Food Trucks Open
Join us out front in the circle for dinner or a snack before the event begins!
Vendors include: George’s Grille, Farm to Sandwich, and Del’s Lemonade.
5:15 PM – Doors Open
Enter through the gym doors with your parents/guardians. Inside the gym, you’ll be able to:
Pick up your student schedule (alphabetical tables by last name)
Grab a school supply list for your specific team, a “how to open your locker” sheet, and a map of the building
Take a self-guided tour of the school (note: classroom doors will be locked)
We’ll also have sports sign-ups for:
Cross Country
Boys Soccer
Girls Soccer
Meet the coaches and get more info in the gym foyer!
6:00 PM – Welcome Presentation
Join us in the Auditorium for a presentation from the Administration Team. We’ll go over all the important information for the start of the school year.
After the presentation, you’re welcome to continue walking around and exploring the school.

Locker Practice!
Want to practice opening a locker before school starts? Head to the B Wing hallway to try your hand at “cracking the code” with our lock practice stations.
